I bought Pioneer 1020 receiver about 1 week in the past and love it. It has great sound, tons of options, and plenty of connectivity for whatever gadget it’s possible you’ll have. The Superior MCACC works very well. I am only operating in Stereo right now driving an previous pair of AR-5 speakers. The MCACC did a superb job of equalizing the speakers for the room and gave a noticeably better sound quality. The facility is greater than sufficient for my set up. Marketed as a hundred and ten watts driving a single channel. It’s eighty watts per channel when driving stereo. Not sure what it drops right down to when operating in 7.1. My audio system are very inefficient and it drives then much louder than I’d ever hearken to them. Even at very excessive quantity I didn’t hear any distortion. It does play an IPOD/IPhone with no drawback, however it does not acknowledge my Artistic Zen. I found the remote management to be a bit cumbersome. It’s OK for the receiver, and it really works advantageous with my Sony XBR TV, however for some motive, I never could get it to acknowledge any of the codes for my Sony BluRay or my DirecTV box.
